A staccato, faster tempoed, hypnotizing, clock-like feel (in 6/4 and 5/4 meters, for all you music majors out there) performed by strings, piano (in @:08) and electronic pulses (in @:31). @:46 the bed climaxes into a driving, tense bed punctuated by percussive / orchestral stabs that give the impression of activity and action. A climax @1:02 lets the music subside into a shifting, calming bed of strings and gentle clock-like piano octaves, giving the listener a sense of danger avoided and all is safe.
